Dr. Babak Dadvand graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania and was further recognized for his outstanding achievements as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Dr. Dadvand went on to medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he was drawn to the surgical specialties. After earning his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) there in 1999, he went on to the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he completed a full General Surgery training program. He excelled both clinically and academically, with multiple publications upon completion of his training.
Dr. Dadvand was then accepted to the plastic surgery program at Indiana University, a rigorous, top-tier program. There, he honed his skills in all facets of plastic surgery, focusing on wound care, burn management and burn wound care, as well as head and neck reconstruction and breast reconstruction. Dr. Dadvand also utilized his time at Indiana University to pursue academic interests, including publications in peer review journals.
After completing his training, Dr. Dadvand began practicing plastic and reconstructive surgery in Los Angeles. He has been on staff at the Center for Wound Management and Hyperbaric Medicine since its opening and has helped countless numbers of patients with complex wounds. In recognition of his outstanding healing rates and dedication to the Center, Dr. Dadvand has been appointed Medical Director of the Center for Wound Management and Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Dadvand implements a comprehensive approach to the treatment of wounds, which not only addresses the cause of the wound, but also includes the latest in wound care technology.
Dr. Dadvand is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery as well as the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Dadvand has been featured in various media outlets such as BBC America, In Touch Weekly, KCBS, KCAL9, as well as on CSI:NY as a Medical Consultant.

Dr. Farshid Nejad, AACFAS, AAPWCA is a member of the community and has lived in Los Angeles most of his life. He completed his undergraduate education at UCLA and his medical education at CCPM in San Francisco, completing both with honors. He returned to Los Angeles for an extensive two year residency specializing in surgery of the foot and ankle, including complex wound care and limb salvage.
He is affiliated with various podiatric professional organizations including being an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and an Associate of the American Professional Wound Care Association. He is an attending podiatrist at Olympia Medical Center and Cedars Sinai Medical Center as well as a clinical instructor teaching residents in complete foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Nejad believes in being completely available to his patients and prides himself to providing personalized treatment to all his patients and ensuring his staff be qualified to do the same.
