Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, providing and coordinating patient care with the IC unit.  Acts of a primary liaison to Medical Staff and other personnel.  Determines appropriate assignments, acts as clinical resource for the unit and mentor for new staff. 

CA RN license, ACLS, BCLS required and LA City Fire Card.  A minimum of 2 or more years clinical experience in ICU or a similar critical care unit, and 1 year as a Supervisor or Charge nurse.  Critical Care Course strongly preferred.
